Tim Hutch last days in Cyprus 5.09

FINALLY!
I know, I know...it's taken me forever. Sorry. Enjoy these pictures of my Dad's last few days in Cyprus with me, after we returned from Israel. God totally blessed our time together.
On our way to hiking.
These next few shots are of my Dad totally stoked, surfing the Mediterranean Sea.

The Tims and their quiver. My Dad is holding my fish...such a great board...thanks again Todd and Renae!
An early morning dawn patrol tradition branches to Helios.
My Dad's turn.
Hiking the Avakas Gorge!
Picking of plants is prohibited by law.

Thanks for coming to the gorge with us.
At the beach again...my Dad on my cell phone...I'm...umm...I have no idea.
Love you Daddy!
My Dad and Tim taught Emma how to surf.
She was sooooooo excited! (Still is.)

Great job surfer girl!!! Love you Emma!
Spending our last days, walking along the Harbor, near the Lighthouse.

Galilee 5.6.09

DAY 3!
After Jerusalem, we drove up to Tiberias and spent the night there. Our last day, we cruised around the Galilee area...very cool. It's not as big as I thought it would be.
Daddy and I at the Sea of Galilee.
Museum where the "Jesus Boat" is.
History of Israel.
This boat is believed to have been from the time of Jesus. Who knows, but it was pretty cool and very old.
Ahoy Matey.
Kendra, Bill, and Dad having fun.
My feet at the Sea of Galilee!
These boats take tourists out on the sea - we didn't have time for one, but it was fun to watch them coming and going.
Have guitar, will play.
Mount of Beatitudes. Matthew 5-7.
To think that Jesus, His Disciples, and sooooo many more followers were here listening to the Creator of the Universe in human flesh - Wow!
Kendra points out the history.
Thanks again Daddy for such an incredible trip.
Capernaum, where Jesus taught and where Peter lived.
Ornate capstones and stone work.
There is a church built over where Peter's house is believed to be - you can see it below the glass.
Our feet hanging over Peter's home.
Under the church, where Peter's house exists.
Studying the remnants of a once-thriving area.
Synagogue.
This synagogue is not the original from the time of Jesus, but it's believed that it is build over the old one, which is probably still under the ground.
Kids ministry in the stone.

I think I got a bloody knee for this shot...that stone is rough.
Hi Kendra!
Hi Papa!
Looking to the hills are the Golan Heights.
You can see the menorah in the column.
St. Peter's Fish Eatery.
Bill's fish.
Sparrow clean-up crew.
What do you get when you put a couple of hams in a fake boat?
This...
...and this.
Collecting shells from the Sea of Galilee.
Daughter-Daddy feet in the Galilee.
My Dad took this piece of driftwood home for my Mom. She has so many cool pieces.
Daddy collecting sand from the Galilee for my Mom to put in her garden at home in CA.
Jordan River Baptism Place. I didn't realize that Pastor Chuck Smith was so influential in getting these baptism areas going.
Pastor Skip Heitzig from Calvary Chapel Albuquerque.
Pastor Chuck Smith from Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa.
Our very flattering outfits =).
My Dad just baptized me in the Jordan River!
Me and Bill got to then baptize my Dad.
Jordan River.
Patchwork hills. Israel is so diverse and so beautiful.
Tel Aviv Surf Shop.
Yep, they have waves here.
Some local surfers with their mopeds and surfboard racks.

We spent our last night back in Tel Aviv watching the surf and sunset. The cherry on top.
The surf was quite nice.
My Dad took all these surf shots...proof that there is surf in Israel =).
A nice right.
This is Zeke, our sidekick.
Zeke says, "See ya later."

Thanks again everyone for enjoying these pictures with me. God has truly blessed me here in Cyprus and with this trip to Israel with my Dad. Come back soon. I have many pictures to load..."slowly, slowly," as they say here on this side of the world.
