Youth For Christ 3.28.09

Leadership Training Day.
I was able to join with the youth band in Limassol to lead worship for a Youth For Christ young leaders training.  We had so much fun!  We practiced two times before, so I was able to get to know this sweet group a little better.
Being in Cyprus is a real mixture of cultures...here, represented in our group is Romania, Cyprus, Scotland, Iran, India, Sweeden, and America.  How cool!
You really wouldn't be able to tell that I'm 10 plus years older than these high schoolers =).
In the corner is our speaker, Bradon, from the states.  Youth came from Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol, and I represented Pafos.
My girls!
Playing a game called, Knights, Kings, and Damsels.
When "Knight" was called out, you had to jump on your partner's back.  "King" meant that you sat on your parter's back on the ground.  "Damsel" meant that you either held or were held by your partner, like a Damsel in Distress...very fun time.
Human tic-tac-toe.  I think we broke a chair in the process of running for a corner square.
The entire group went to Pizza Hut after the day of training.  This was a blessing to hang out with all these people who love Jesus.  What you see here represents most of the leadership for the youth on the island of Cyprus.
